More recipes from past cooking clubs

We have collected recipes from past cooking clubs. I'm sorry I haven't put them on the blog. No excuses other than shear laziness. But I want to thank all who have brought dishes to share and their recipes to go on the blog page. Here are some of the recipes from past cooking clubs. Lyndee will be doing the blog for a while. Thank-you Lyndee

Red Pepper Jelly
12 red bell peppers
6 -7 red anaheim peppers
2 red jalapenos
1 red onion
1/2 tsp. margarine
2 pkgs. liquid pectin
1 1/2 cups white vinegar
1 cup apple juice
1/2 cup red hot candies
7 cups sugar
1 Tbls. salt (heaping)
red food coloring
Remove seeds and membranes from the peppers. Put peppers and onion through a grinder. Sprinkle salt on the mixture and let stand 3 hours. ( One time I just skipped
the three hour part and it seemed o.k.). Add other ingredients and boil slowly for 1 1/2-2
hours. Add pectin and boil 1 minute. Put in jars with sealing lids and process in water
bath for 10-15 minutes. Makes 14 small jars.
